The Open Effects Standard is widely used for visual effects (VFX) and video processing systems. OpenFX provides specifications to connect video editing and compositing applications with plug-ins. The popular API is implemented by many companies including Assimilate, Blackmagic Design, BorisFX, Digital Anarchy, Digital Film Tools, Filmlight, FXHome, Magix, Natron, NewBlue, RE:Vision Effects, SilhouetteFX, Sony, The Foundry and TuttleOFX. Join us and find out how we can improve your work and share your needs and thoughts for the future of OFX.
Attendance is open to all interested in VFX: product designers and developers, writers, trainers (people who have to document features) and market leaders, VFX supervisors, technical directors, and resellers.
Attendees will have an opportunity to network with plug-in developers from the top visual effects providers.
The Open Effects Association (OFX) is a non-profit company that aims to develop and promote open standards across the visual effects community. The Association’s focus is to improve the OpenFX video processing plug-in standard to reduce the level of development and support required for plug-ins across different editing, compositing and finishing host platforms.
